emkon. packaging machinery
Cooperation partner from the Packaging Valley
The district of Schwäbisch Hall is the hometown of Packaging Valley, which extends between Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Nürnberg. A wide range of highly specialized companies of the packaging industry have settled here. The machine manufacturer emkon. Systemtechnik, Projektmangement GmbH from Kirchlinteln has been maintaining a close and successful cooperation with a manufacturer of high-performance filling and packaging machines from the same innovation district in southern Germany since October 2019. The aim is, to combine the own strengths of both companies in response to customer enquiries, to expand the own portfolio with solutions of the partner and thus to offer even better overall solutions for the customers. Time-to-market is just as much in focus as optimized and price-conscious solutions for customers.
Within the framework of this cooperation, the first projects have already been successfully completed. For a group customer from the luxury food industry, several large-scale plants for the innovative filling of cans were jointly implemented. While emkon. realized the complete handling of the innovative can filling, our partner was responsible for the closure with freshness sealing and the capping of the cans. Another result of the cooperation was successfully concluded with the packaging of coffee capsules. This is a special application, which we were able to implement through the sales contacts of our partner. One of the leading European manufacturers of coffee capsules was supplied this year with new, fully automatic emkon. machine solutions for the process-safe packaging of unfilled coffee capsules.
“We are very pleased that this cooperation enables us to make even better use of our strengths. By sharing distribution channels, both sides are broadly positioned and the access to projects outside their own reach is thus made possible. We are thankful for the trust they placed in us and we hope to successfully implement many more joint projects in the future”, says Andreas Dittrich, managing director of emkon.
